Lynn Braz, M.A., 500-Hour RYT
Private and small group yoga instruction in your own home.
All levels—from beginner to advanced.
“What heals one person can harm another. What feels great for one body can cause pain in another. I teach fusion yoga classes that are tailored to the individual’s body, needs, and goals.”
Specializing in injury prevention, yoga for fitness, and yoga for pain management, I work with adults and children of all ages. I also founded Yoga for Athletes at Lackawanna College.
I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and am certified (500-hour RYT) through Synergy Yoga of Port Arena, California. My studies include six months of training in India at the Ashtanga Institute, Mysore, and with Rolf and Marci Naujokat in Goa. I’ve also spent six months studying in Ubud, Bali, at the Ashtanga Research Center, and with Denise Payne at Yoga Barn.
Training with a variety of teachers, each of whom has a distinct approach to the practice of yoga, has made me more flexible as a teacher. And that is yoga’s greatest strength—flexibility. Flexible body, flexible mind.
Yoga helps develop the ability to adapt, with equanimity, to the things we can neither change nor control. A regular yoga practice can enhance every area of your life.
Other certifications I hold include Pilates Mat and personal training through AFAA.
